Porcelain A20 bus insulators are typically used to support copper bus-bars, and are commonly used in high-voltage switching applications. Meister International supplies porcelain A20 bus insulators that have aluminum inserts to for durability and ease of installation.

The design of porcelain A20 bus insulators takes into account both the mechanical and electrical requirements of IEEE, IEC, NEMA and ANSI Standards. Our A20 porcelain bus insulators are cantilever tested and additional testing is performed to ensure our products perform in accordance with the applicable industry standards.

Maintenance of porcelain A20 bus insulators is not required. The glaze coating on the exterior of the insulator keeps dirt and pollutants from adhering. The aluminum inserts are ideal for supporting copper bus-bars without corrosion.
